On April 4th-5th, TAMU hosted the annual Ecological Integration Symposium. EIS is a interdisciplinary event run by TAMU graduate students, bringing together a diverse group of scientists and students from the fields of ecology, evolutionary biology, and conservation.
This year the PEC lab was out in force, graduate students Maria Hurtado- Materon and Rose Blanchard, and postdoc Alex Howard, all presented their research in oral presentations.
Our undergraduate students also presented the research that they have been doing under supervision from students and postdocs in the lab:
Alexia Engel – supervised by Maria Hurtado-Materon
Audra Hicks, Jade Bach, and Paige Hudson – supervised by Breann Richey
Amanda Fleming, Anish Ravi, Gabrien Alexander, Helen Hunter, Martha Wilson, and Varun Chapa – supervised by Dr Dana Reuter
Well done to everyone who presented awesome research! It was a great event full of science and networking!
