She was awarded an NSF fellowship to  work on mammalian omnivory and employs phylogenetic comparative methods, morphology studies, and stable isotopes to test hypotheses about the ecological links among extinct taxa and their environment. She is passionate about science communication, open data repositories, the outdoors, and diversity in the Sciences. See more about Dana’s current work here (https://www.danareuter.com/).
