This month the Lawing Lab hosted a week-long meeting with their collaborators on the NSF-funded grant “Inferring the impacts of closely-related species on phenotypic evolution”. We were joined in College Station by Dr Jaime Zúñiga-Vega from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Dr Julio Rivera from the Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine, and Dr. Gonzalo Ramírez-Cruz from Arizona State University.
This week was a great opportunity to get ideas flowing as we work towards our concrete goals for this grant. Dr Zúñiga-Vega presented his research to the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology program, and Dr. Rivera presented his research to the department of Ecology and Conservation Biology.
